It was challenging to get some miles on the tandem this weekend while dodging raindrops and attending graduation parties. Amy and Luke were home for the weekend so we made plans to meet them at Brewskies in Utica for lunch today—we pedaled and they drove. Dennis and I shared a taco pizza, yum! The ride was revitalizing and renewed our enjoyment for biking. We talked of our plans for upcoming bike events as we cranked on down the road. The temperature was in the 70’s and winds were out of the NE and a bit strong at times but it all prepares us for the hills we know we will encounter during our next organized camping ride of the Tri-States.
