Mother's Day Ride

It’s Mother’s day and Mom wants to ride. Don’t care what the weather is like—must bike! We continue to anxiously await the arrival of true biking weather. Snow was visible on the back deck on Saturday so we spent the day dismantling the tandem and polished the entire bike until we had more grease on ourselves than the bike. The sun may not shine but our bike sure does. By Sunday the snow was gone and the temp was in the high 50’s so we finally got the bike back on the road for a short ride to St. Charles for an ice cream treat and then back home.
