Brewskies’ dinner bell was ringing so we began pedaling towards its sound. We had a wonderful ride and dinner with our friends at the bar. We were early enough to beat the Friday crowd but the traffic on Hwy 14 out of St. Charles was rather busy. The legs are feeling good as we climb each hill along this route but we would still like to see more improvement before we head for Tennessee in the beginning of May.

An Early April Spin in Minnesota

We are fighting to keep our tires on the road this season. Spring-type weather still seems so far away. We enjoyed 18 mph winds with a temperature in the low 50’s today as we ventured out for a jaunt along our country roadways. We always enjoy the friendly smiles and waves as the motor vehicles and Amish buggies pass us by. We excitedly await our planned bike events with our first trip to Chattanooga, TN approaching in only 3 weeks and boy are we ready—whether our legs are or not.
